Dive Sites
We frequent dive sites around the Central Coast and Northern Sydney. Our featured dive site is the Ex-HMAS Adelaide, a naval frigate scuttled on 13th April 2011 as an artificial reef and world class dive site. Our other dives sites are made up of wrecks at varying depths and reefs featuring sponges, soft corals, underwater caves, swim throughs, bommies and pinnacles.
The general dive conditions are varied. Over the summer months water temperature is usually an average temperature of 21ºC to 22Cº. During the winter period the water temperature averages between 16ºC to 18ºC. Visibility is also varied and can range from 30m down to as little as 2m after unfavourable conditions; however visibility would average around 10m for most dives.
Scuba Shack Charters pick up divers from Ettalong Public Wharf, Ferry Road Ettalong. For group bookings of (6) six divers we are happy pick up from Palm Beach or Terrigal Haven.
